Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spread is made in small batches (in Portugal) with a short list of ingredients: pumpkin, cane sugar, fruit pectin (for thickening), lemon juice, and ground cinnamon. As the label says, the result is a Sweet & Savory Pumpkin Spread that does, in fact, major in pumpkin flavor – with a light cinnamon accent. We would suggest you do like the Portuguese do and pair it with a full-flavored cheese, like our Dried Fruit Goat Log or our Cheddar with Scotch Bonnet Chilis, if you’re feeling really bold. It also goes well on a sandwich with our Spicy Uncured Charcuterie Selection. Of course, a good old bagel with cream cheese and Pumpkin Spread works, too!
