SABINO ART GLASS, VINTAGE ZEBRA FIGURINE, MINT CONDITION

Description

Offered in this listing is a vintage and I believe retired Zebra figurine from Sabino Art Glass. This animal is 5-3/4" x 5-3/4" x 1-3/4" (tallest/widest/deepest dimensions). It is clear or at least translucent with a greenish opalescent cast which when held to light becomes a beautiful golden color. The stripes vary from reality in that these stripes appear in fairly high relief. The piece stands on a flattish rectangular pedestal (rounded ends) an there is a vertical glass wall between the four legs, which provided sturdiness to the figures rather than flimsy leg only support. Great piece, beautiful design and etched in script on the base, SABINO PARIS.
