It features a number of improvements and additional direct-access controls in response to feedback from users of the original (Mark I) version, including a smartphone app and control over modeling light power levels.
As you can see from the images, the unit is brand new and still has the protective plastic film over the display. I purchased it a couple months ago. We ended up moving to a new camera system before I even had a chance to take it out of the box. (I confirmed that it works while taking the product images.)
