$ 950.4

Availability: 100 in stock
  • Object Type: Vase
  • Country/Region of Origin: France
  • Original/Reproduction: Antique Original
  • Condition: Very good condition. There are some very small flea bites that are within the ground top edge, these could be very easily repaired without notice. There are some inclusions which can be seen in photo #9 across the lady's nose. In photo #6 you can see a rub mark, in photo #7 you can see one of the flea bites, this was the largest and very shallow. In photo #9 and #10 I put a piece of folded red velvet in side to help show the faces. It is common for items from this time period to have some minor quality control issues, these would have been made by hand and not mass produced. The issues I addressed above are part of the manufacturing process and acceptable for the time of production but are mentioned so the buyer is aware.

    Description

    Maurice Model of Verdun France Art Deco vase in very good condition.
    This 1930's era face vase is marked "M Model France" on the bottom.
    There are two different faces with different flowers surrounding each. This is an opalescence vase very similar to Sabino or Etling or Jobbling and would go with those types of collections very easily.  These vases do not come up for sale very often and command some high prices.  Quick search shows that some have sold between ,500 and ,000.  Great vase for a collector of French opalescent glass.  This will ship double boxed and insured.
