Antique Vintage Biltmore New York Hotel Silver Soldered Gravy Boat International
An antique hotel silver plate gravy boat from the Hotel Biltmore New York. It's an elegant piece with a "B" monogram on one side and it dates from the early 1900s. It was made by International Silver and is well marked with both "Hotel Biltmore New York" and an International Silver mark, as well as other marks.
The gravy boat measures 8" wide including the handle, 4 1/8" tall, and 3 1/4" in depth.
The gravy boat has had a long life and it's good, but well used, vintage condition. The silver soldered plating is in good overall condition with small dings and nicks allover and wear on the bottom of the base. There are some scratches on the bottom interior. It's a very attractive piece and it still has that gorgeous hotel silver glow.
This piece is from a lot of antique hotel silver that I purchased about 20 years ago from the daughter of a man who worked in the New York hospitality industry.
